In order to help the RVIPA Board plan for the Workshop, please indicate which of the following sessions you are likely to attend on each day.

Please note: Limited space is available for each of the tours. You MUST pre-register to save your spot.  In order to go on a facility tour, the required PPE MUST be shown when checking in for the tour.

WEDNESDAY - JULY 24, 2024

  • Dress Code: Closed toe shoes are required. No open toe shoe of any kind is allowed. No shorts are allowed. Flowing clothing is not allowed. Visitors without safety shoes or protective covers must remain on the main aisles.

    Personal Protective Equipment: Hearing protection and protective eyewear (regular prescription glasses do not meet this requirement) are required in all areas of the plant and are available in the front lobby. Safety shoes or protective covers are required when off of the main aisles working with the assembly process. Closed toe shoes are required in all areas of the plant. Open toe shoes are not permitted. Visitors in all areas of the plant are required to wear high visibility safety vests.

    Jewelry Policy: The Denton plant has a jewelry policy in place to help prevent potential product damage. Anyone entering the plant is required to: Remove rings while in the plant. Remove watches or bracelets while in the plant. Remove belts with metal buckles while in the plant.

    Age Requirement: No person under 16 years old is permitted into the plant during production hours.

    Photography: Tour guides may arrange for photos to be taken in the Peterbilt Experience Area. All other photography in the plant is prohibited without advance approval. Approval may be requested, in advance, through the plant receptionist. No other photos on the property are permitted.

  • Western Currency prints dollar paper currency for the Federal Reserve using dry offset, intaglio (gravure) and letter press printing. They have a metal finishing process and onsite treatment system. This is one of only two facilities in the nation that prints paper currency, the other one is located in Washington D.C.

    PPE REQUIRED: Closed toe/heel shoes and safety vests are required.

    THERE WILL BE NO SUBSTITUTIONS FOR THIS TOUR DUE TO SECURITY ACCESS AND APPROVALS REQUIRED PRIOR TO ARRIVAL

Substitutions can be made to registrations. However, it is the firm policy of the EPA Region VI Pretreatment Association that no refunds will be issued for completed and submitted registrations in accordance with RVIPA Board Policy
